The TF PSLUR cartridge seal is designed for abrasive slurry applications and can operate without a quench. Its modular construction includes a cone spring that resists clogging and eliminates the dynamic O-ring, minimizing the risk of hang-up. The seal faces, crafted from silicon or tungsten carbide, are identical, ensuring durability. The adaptive hardware is made from alloyed stainless steel or high chrome iron, providing excellent resistance to corrosion and abrasion for wetted components. For extended service life, a quench seal option is also available.
• Robust construction handles slurry concentration up to 40% solids by weight.
• Abrasion resistant metal components and silicon carbide seal faces extend service for maximum seal life.
• Open design allows seal to operate without flush water to help reduce product dilution.
• Encapsulated cone spring increases reliability by providing even spring load to the seal faces without wearing or clogging.
• Easy and accurate installation is realized by thecartridge design from the pump's dry or wet endwith no special tools.
• Six group sizes cover most of the slurry pumpequipment giving maximum flexibility withreduced inventory.
• Optional Plan 62 grease or water quench withoutboard lip seal provides seal face lubrication fordry running cycles.
